The Research conference "Innovations of enterprises" held on 4th of this month by the "Moncement Building materials" company in collaboration with the Science and Technology foundation.
The research conference, which was conducted for the first time for the purpose to create a public-private partnership, is planned to be conducted annually. B.Tserenkhand, Ass.Professor at the Department of Chemistry and Biology engineering at the National University of Mongolia, won the first place by his presentation of "the opportunity to use Erdenet factory waste for cement production" from the conference forum, which discussed 10 presentations.
"Mineral Impacts on Construction Material Characteristics" was presented by J.Oyuntsetseg, the lead researcher of Materials Studies and Technology Laboratory at the Chemistry and Technology Institute of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, won the Second place.

Moreover, Ts.Bolormaa, the soil researcher of the Geography and Geo-ecology Institute of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, won the Special place for her presentation "Cover to protect soil humidity".

Mrs.Enkhtuya, the director of the National producer "Moncement Building Materials" LLC, O. Bolormaa, director in charge of the company's Strategy and Planning, and Ph.D.,E.Enkhjargal, the director of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology handed the awards to the best speakers.
"Moncement Building Materials" LLC and the Mongolian University of Science and Technology made the memorandum a month ago. This memorandum is purposed to make public-private partnership in scientific and technological fields, exchange experiences, share technologies, and expand economy based on new knowledge. Specifically, they aimed to introduce scientific researches into the business sector, to benefit from their creations, to evaluate intellectual property and to invest in the economy.
In this regard we discussed with Bolormaa, the strategy director of "Monmetement Building Materials" LLC.
MONGOLIA IS FORMED AS AN ENTITY AND STRUCTURED AS MACROECONOMY
-We are aiming to implement the public-private partnership, not only making a motto. I work in business sectors. Moreover, I am the member of the academic council of the Technological Institute. I am Ph.D in chemistry. I worked in public organizations for many years and therefore I know advantages and weaknesses of public and private enterprises.
Our factory is different from other cement factories by its aim to perform the technology transmissions in and out of the country by cooperating with scientists. In frame of the aim, the research conference is conducted today. Next year I will introduce tests made on only products of Moncement. Then we will bring positive impacts to the product development. We can increase types of cements producing in Mongolia when we take the product development into account.
After the conference, judges said scientists studying theory were too far from the real practices. This approves the cooperation necessity of producers and researchers.
Monpolymet group is the leader by its rehabilitation performance. Although our rehabilitation team is still working, Urgun soum of Dornogovi aimag is a Gobi region, so the soil is very special.
REFORESTATION AND REHABILITATION ARE BEING PERFORMED WITHOUT SCIENTIFIC BASIS
-In the cooperation framework, scientists will be building a 500 trees at the Moncement Factory. -We have to start the soil survey to make the Gobi of Mongolia a green wall. "Moncement building materials" LLC invited international soil researchers to investigate the entire area of its factory. Rahabilitation will be performed after studying which plants and trees are suitable for the Gobi soil. We are intending to show how scientists and industry employees are building spinney.
At this spinney, the water absorbent polymer, which is the modern high technology, will be tested on the cooperation with the Technology transfer center. There is no common recipe for science. Climates of each region are different. Therefore, classify trees into groups with super absorber and no-absorber. Under holes, absorbers will be placed in different sizes. Then will start observing. 10 days, 20 days, one month and three months after notes will be recorded.
After a year, we will find in what sized distances the super absorber will be installed, and what plants are suitable for.
At result, we will be able to grow trees and plants fast. Scientists do not have the place for their experiments, so we invite them to provide by the opportunity to make their experiment and supporting each other. Before the Botanical Institute had a huge area. But it is required to free the land. Even the Botanical Institute transfers some trees and plants, but most of them died. Some trees are cut off immediately.
We usually talk about why trees do not grow in Mongolia. Why successfully growing the green walls in our southern neighbor, but why ours are not successful even we plant every year? This is because of scientific research, reforestation and rehabilitation are performed without scientific basis. Monpolymet group is the leader by its rehabilitation performance. Although our rehabilitation team is still working, Urgun soum of Dornogovi aimag is a Gobi region, so the soil is very special. After testing plants on soil, the researchers will find what plants are appropriate for the soil. The laboratory tests have weaknesses that are not compatible with reality.
